Kegiatan Pemilihan Ketua dan Wakil Ketua OSIS SMK WIRA INFORMATIKA GLOBAL Masa Bhakti 2016/2017
Pembelajaran demokrasi kepada siswa SMK WInG menggelar pemilihan ketua OSIS. Kegiatan yang mengadopsi sistem pemilihan yang dilaksanakan oleh KPU ini di dahului oleh penyampaian Visi dan Misi calon ketua OSIS di hadapan seluruh siswa. Mekanisme pemilihan ketua OSIS merupakan agenda tetap pengurus OSIS . Setiap siswa bergantian memberikan hak suaranya di mulai dari kelas X sampai dengan kelas XII, tersedia beberapa bilik suara bagi pemilih, sehingga pemilihan ketua OSIS dijamin kerahasiannya.
Moment ini cukup menarik bahkan bisa dibilang unik. Pasalnya sistem yang digunakan dalam pemilihan Ketua OSIS mengadopsi sistem yang biasa digunakan oleh KPU dalam pemilhan umum, dimana setiap pemilih diberikan selembar kertas suara yang diberi nomor sesuai dengan nomor urut yang dimiliki oleh masing-masing calon. Selanjutnya pemilih memberikan hak suara dengan cara mencontreng salah satu nomor sesuai dengan nomor urut Calon Ketua OSIS yang dijagokan, dan setelah itu surat suara yang telah dicontreng dimasukan ke dalam kotak suara. Untuk menghindari adanya pemilih ganda, setiap usai memberikan hak suaranya para pemilih wajib mencelupkan jari kedalam wadah yang berisi tinta.
Pelaksanaan Pemilihan Ketua OSIS dengan menggunakan sistem pemilu ini merupakan sebuah proses pembelajaran demokrasi secara langsung bagi seluruh siswa. Sehingga kedepanya saat menghadapi Pemilu para siswa tidak canggung lagi, karena telah memiliki pengalaman pada saat di sekolah. Selain itu kegiatan ini juga bertujuan menanamkan sikap jujur dan sportif bagi setiap siswa.
Bagi kandidat yang bersaing diharapkan dapat menerima apapun hasil yang diperoleh dalam proses pemilihan yang dilaksanakan. Selain itu Ketua OSIS yang nantinya terpilih diharapkan mampu menjadi sosok yang bisa memimpin dan memberikan contoh yang baik bagi temannya.
